The Music Room

The Perfect Setting to Say Your ‘I Dos’

Brimming with vintage Victorian features, and original artwork our main ceremony room can seat up to 92 people. A grand but intimate space it is the classic backdrop for your ceremony. Laid out with limewash chivari chairs and decorations of your choice it really provides that wow factor when it comes to saying I do! After your ceremony you can spill out in to the hall, or gardens, for your reception.

Alternatively if you are holding your wedding at a church, the music room is yours to mingle in with your guests on arrival.

The music room as it is so rightly called also functions as our dancing room! With a DJ or band setting the scene, a dance floor for twirling those dresses on, and magical lighting, the music room comes to life at night! From gathering the guests round for the first dance, to busting some moves and making some shapes as the evening continues, located next to the bar in the hall it provides a fabulous evening space.

The Dining Room

Elegant Dining in a Traditional Setting

This traditional Dining room gives a wonderfully warm and intimate feel to your wedding breakfast. With a maximum of 52 guests, spilling out into the Orangery if your numbers are greater, the dining room has that warm and cosy vintage feeling.

A bay window looking out to the beautiful garden sets the scene, with original artwork, and an ornate mirror completing it.  Whether your theme is rustic and vintage or classic and cool the Dining room is perfect for it all.

The Orangery

A Unique Space For Your Celebrations

Flowing on from the dining room and opening out on to our gorgeous terrace and gardens this room can be used for your ceremony or wedding breakfast.

With that fresh and light feel, the Orangery can set the scene for a really romantic ceremony. Imagine walking down the spectacularly tiled floor to your loved one waiting. With wooden ceilings, glass roof lights, and double doors and windows that can be thrown open to the gardens, you can keep it simply stunning or get really creative and bring the outside in.

If instead you choose the music room for your ceremony or you have a church wedding you can still use this stunning space as part of your day. The Orangery can seat 42 for your wedding breakfast, flowing out into the dining room if your numbers are greater.

The Hall

The Place To Greet Your Guests

As the central part of the house, and a place for guests to gather on arrival the hall really has that wow factor. With stunning tiled flooring, a grand piano, and an ornate balcony overlooking the bar, it really says ‘you have arrived’. Set the scene with a pianist tinkling the keys, or a string quartet nestled on the balcony.

A place for mingling in the day, or chatting near the music at night, the hall brings the venue all together. If you are looking for an autumnal or winter wedding, the hall fire will be roaring, and candles lit, creating a warm and welcoming space.

The Drawing Room

A Space To Relax In

Traditionally called the drawing room as this is where you would ‘withdraw to’ after dinner, this cosy room provides a relaxed space for those who wish to sit by the fire and chat!

With comfy sofas and wing-back chairs, you can enjoy a moment of peace and tranquillity, or spend some time catching up with your guests!

The Gardens

The Perfect Backdrop For Your Day

Stepping out into the glorious gardens will lead you to elegant lawns, meandering paths, spectacular fountains, fairy dell ponds, and even a 1920s swimming pool.

A perfect space for mingling with your guests, you can hear the glasses tinkling and the laughter rising over the blooming borders, a perfect backdrop to your day. The intricate layout of the space means you can spend time with your guests or wander off for some private moments and take in the views.

With so many different features, the 3 acres of gardens provide an abundance of photographic opportunities, a dream backdrop to capture your day.

As dusk falls the garden comes to light with twinkly fairy lights and festoon lighting, making it an entrancing space for guests to enjoy. With warmer weather guests can continue to mingle outside as evening arrives.
